The introduction of the Carrot Stix seties has aliowed Element 21 to develop proprietary carrot nanMieflber polymer technology. Why Carrot fibers? Why not additional graphite in the blank? Additional graphite In the blank would require the use of higher modulus graphlte whlch has three draw backs: a) htgher modulus graphite is more prone to breakage;
b) higher modulus graphite makes the fishing rod much stiffer; c) higher modulus graphite flshing rods are very expensive for the consumer.
